A short ident for the The Indian Film Festival of London. This is the first major film festival to be held in London that is dedicated solely to promoting cinema from the Indian subcontinent. Tinker Taylor produced the animation to be used throughout the festivals branding.
The ident was played at the beginning of screenings, Q&A’s and on screens throughout the venues. The concept of “living henna” came from studying the original logos intricate design and wanting to bring that to life to create a interesting animation that reveals the logo from an initial brush stroke to the final logo reveal. The animation was created using Illustrator, Photoshop and Apple’s Motion Software.
