TINKER TAYLOR partnered with the Police Federation of England and Wales on the #BelieveInBlue campaign, challenging negative perceptions of policing. We used cutting-edge video techniques, such as ‘time-slice’ & CGI, to craft powerful visual stories that demonstrated the essential role police officers play in keeping communities safe. This campaign reached over 2 million viewers and sparked more than 100 real-life stories on the Believe in Blue website, driving real-world support for police officers.
We worked with West Midlands Police on their #LifeOrKnife initiative, focused on reducing knife crime among young people. By sharing the tragic story of 16-year-old Ronan, we aimed to make a lasting impact on youth safety. Our social media campaign reached over 1 million impressions and generated more than 300,000 video views. We extended the conversation with a podcast series and amplified the message through targeted OOH ads, driving further engagement and support.
We worked with the Police Federation for Northern Ireland on the #WeAreYou campaign, which humanised police officers and showcased their personal lives, emphasising that they are parents, partners, and children—just like everyone else. Through a series of emotionally charged films, the campaign reached a fifth of Northern Ireland’s population within just four weeks, garnered widespread praise, and won multiple awards, including a Royal Television Society Award.
From these projects, we combine video, photography, and design to create content that drives engagement, fosters understanding, and brings social issues to the forefront. Our work in the public sector connects people, challenges perceptions, and inspires real-world action.
