NHS England – ‘After The Vaccine’ Animation

In December 2020 we were approached by NHS England to produce an eye-catching piece of animated film. It would be used to explain the importance of following the NHS recommended guidelines post-vaccination and, in just 4 weeks, we delivered this animation – subtitled and voiced in 16 different languages.

The final result was the creation of a highly effective and accessible piece of film, as well as a number of print assests to be used as posters and leaflets in medical practices.

NHS Blood and Transplant – #LeaveThemCertain ‘Mr&Mrs’

As part of their wide-reaching social media campaign #LeaveThemCertain, NHS Blood and Transplant asked us to create 3 videos to highlight the importance of talking to our loved ones about organ donation.

Playing on the ‘Mr&Mrs’ game, we created 3 dynamic videos shot in a variety of aspect ratios, which enhanced their viewing experience on social media. Take a look at a version here, which was delivered in 16:9.

West Midlands Police – #WeNeedYourSkills

Working with long time collaborator, Director James Stoneley, we created a series of highly effective videos for West Midland Police’s new recruitment campaign.

The results speak for themselves: in the first week of the campaign, applications rose to 250 a week – 6 times more than previous application rates! In an 8 week run on Facebook, these vieos generated over 1 million impressions and reached 50,000 people.

Birmingham City Council – Be Bold, Be Birmingham

We’ve produced a number of powerful videos with Birmingham City Council, including this showcase to promote their #BeBoldBeBham campaign. Here, we worked with local artist and actor Adaya Henry, who wrote a bespoke piece of spoken word for the video.

Over a few days, we met and filmed a huge number of local artists, retailers, shoppers, patrons of Birningham Pride, and many more. It was a fantastic experience and we love the result: a film which shows the real Birmingham with all its hidden gems and amazing people!

Police Federations of England and Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland

Our projects with the Police Federations throughout the UK have been great successes. Our #WeAreYou project (seen left) won a Royal Television Society Award; our #BelieveInBlue film was created with a state-of-the-art ‘time-slice’ technique; and our #ItsWhatWeDo films became a BBC News Scotland lead story.

Our work for #WeAreYou consisted of 3 short films for cinema, and resulted in reaching one-fifth of the population of Northern Ireland in the first 4 weeks alone.

Our public sector work may be varied,
but our results aren’t.

We worked with Health Education England on a major recruitment video campaign to encourage people to come back to nursing. It helped save the NHS more than £20 million.

Our video campaign also helped increase the number of job applications at a major NHS Trust by 55%.
