Two years ago we produced an award-winning, resoundingly successful series of films for the Scottish Police Federation (SPF). Not only did they strike an emotional cord with politicians, press and the public – garnering hundreds of thousand of views in the process – they also caught the attention of the Police Federation for Northern Ireland (PFNI). After seeing the impact of our SPF films, the PFNI engaged TINKER TAYLOR. The brief: to bring the public and police closer together in Northern Ireland.
If you haven’t already, please take a look at We Are Fathers below. Be warned – the film is extremely hard-hitting and is BBFC rated 15.

Working closely with BAFTA-winning Belfast filmmakers ‘Out of Orbit’, TINKER TAYLOR produced a series of three films focusing on the work/life balance of Northern Irish police officers. Each shows that behind the uniforms, police officers are just people, the same as everyone else. The films, We Are Fathers, We Are Mothers and We Are Granddaughters all sit under the hashtag #WeAreYou.
To date, we are currently aware of 502,998 video views, so this looks set to be another hugely successful campaign. We Are Fathers is being distributed in cinemas throughout Northern Ireland, and the feedback from police officers, the wider public, politicians and the press has been phenomenal.
Whilst it’s always great to get a pat on the back from our peers, there is nothing more fulfilling than getting the thumbs up from our clients. Take a look at what PFNI Chairman Mark Lindsay had to say about working with TINKER TAYLOR:
