Two years ago we produced an award-winning, resoundingly successful series of films for the Scottish Police Federation (SPF). Not only did they strike an emotional cord with politicians, press and the public – garnering hundreds of thousand of views in the process – they also caught the attention of the Police Federation for Northern Ireland (PFNI). After seeing the impact of our SPF films, the PFNI engaged TINKER TAYLOR. The brief: to bring the public and police closer together in Northern Ireland.

Collaborating with local filmmakers, Brain Candy, we produced four scenes that demonstrate a broad variety of police activity, rooted firmly within our communities. The films have been designed to evoke empathy, pride and a sense of solidarity, the feeling that we are all in it together and that the police are one of us, performing a vital, tough role.

As you can see in these behind the scenes picture’s, in three of the scenes, a state of the art, robotic, computer-controlled camera moved through the set in a pre-programmed, fluid path. Precise art direction and seamless CGI effects gave complete authenticity to the scenes, so that it feels like you have witnessed a real moment in time.

We are now towards the end of the first month of 2016, and here at Tinker Taylor, we have some very exciting announcements to make!

Recently, we have had some very positive results from a recent video we made for The University Hospital of North Midlands which aimed to show a different side to the University Hospital of North Midlands. This Trust in particular had been struggling to recruit qualified nurses to apply for jobs with them, but with our very creative videos driving a social media campaign, UHNM have successfully created a whole load of extra traffic on their website, facebook and twitter pages.

This week we received delivery of our brilliant TINKER TAYLOR branded Christmas cakes, which we’ve sent to a number of our clients as a big festive ‘thank you’ for supporting us this year. 2015 has been our best year yet, experiencing significant growth, and the forecast is sunny for 2016! So here’s to a prosperous, fun and exciting new year, one and all!

This month we have been busy producing a series of short, impactful ads for sexual abuse charity, Safeline. The ads are being used to drive online campaigns, #5MillionMen, #8MillionWoman and #1in20_U18s, with potential cinema release in the new year. We were delighted to see TT’s latest commercial launch in cinemas this month! The stunning cinematic film, commissioned by McCann Birmingham, was used to drive the Wolverhampton University #CourseYouCan recruitment campaign. Click on the picture below to be inspired!

With all the excitement and anticipation in the run up to the 2015 Rugby World Cup TINKER TAYLOR spent a training session with their favourite rugby club, Camp Hill (we sponsor their women’s team no less), to create this fun little video.

The location of the shoot was Oakwright’s show home in the Hereford countryside. The show home gives potential customers a feel for the type of house, giving them the ability to ‘try before you buy’ whilst also providing them with inspiration for their own.

Oakwright’s show home was furnished and styled using Holloways, allowing both companies to be well represented.
