Create a series of three 15-second YouTube ads to promote Yale’s new bike locks across Europe.
In collaboration with The Agency Brand Consultancy, we developed a light-hearted, comedic campaign that humorously highlighted the extreme lengths people could go to in order to protect their bikes—such as hiring a bodyguard, using a 10-foot python, or covering the bike in tape. Each ad concluded with the simple, effective message: “There is an easier way to prevent bike theft. Just Yale Lock it!”
Tinker Taylor oversaw the full production, from sourcing actors and locations that could represent various European countries to securing props, including an on-brand Yale yellow 10-foot python!
Given the short format for YouTube ads, we used quick cuts to maintain energy and intrigue, while incorporating subtle humour throughout to keep the tone light and engaging.
The ads were a hit, delivering Yale’s message with a smile. We challenge you to watch them without grinning!
